Altaf condoles with younger brother of Fakhrul Islam

KARACHI: Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Thursday telephoned Iftikhar Ahmed and condoled with him on the killing of his elder brother and the MQM candidate from PS – 47 Fakhrul Islam. Iftikhar Ahmed is also an MQM candidate from the National Assembly constituency NA – 221 in Hyderabad.

Altaf Hussain expressing his grief and sorrow said that Fakhrul Islam was the first martyr of Elections 2013 and he had shown by sacrificing his life for truth that he was the pride of Pakistan and Islam.

Hussain asked Iftikhar Ahmed to bear with patience and said that the brutal killers of Fakhrul Islam would meet their end.

Iftikhar Ahmed said the incident of terrorism would not be able to lower their determination. He asked Hussain to pray Almighty Allah to give steely resolve and unflinching determination to every worker of the MQM for moving on the path of truth and justice.

Hussain telephoned Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and informed him about the brutal killing of Fakhrul Islam. He demanded that the killers of Fakhrul Islam should be brought to book and given exemplary punishment.
