Altaf deplores killing of MQM workers

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Chief Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the brutal killing of in-charge of Nazimabad unit 183, Sarfraz Ahmed and workers of Shah Faisal Colony sector Yasir Iqbal and Qasba-Aligarh sector’s unit 5-E and injuring of New Karachi sector’s (unit-140-A) worker of the party’s organizational structure and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in such heinous crimes.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the MQM chief said that the people at the helm of affairs should immediately take serious action against those who under a conspiracy were involved in the extra judicial killings and the terrorist acts of causing severe injuries to the office-bearers and workers of the party workers.

He demanded of the authorities to immediately apprehend the killers of MQM workers and give them exemplary punishment. Expressing his sympathies with the members of the bereaved families, Mr Hussain prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the grief-stricken families to bear this irreparable loss. He also prayed or the early recovery of the worker of unit 140-A of MQM’s New Karachi Sector, Syed Salim Ahmed.
