APH leader for resolving Kashmir issue through dialogue

KARACHI: Mehmood Ahmed Saghar of All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that we wanted solution of Kashmir issue through dialogue.

The UN resolutions for Kashmir issue are excellent and these are necessary to be followed in this regard. People of Kashmir are not tired of struggle and they are still constant on their point and they do not want to live with India in any case: he said while addressing a seminar organized by KMC on the occasion of Kashmir Day.

He said: “Our fight is not of religion or India and Muslims but we want to get our right with the help of UN resolutions. We want to live with Pakistan and our freedom has no means without Pakistan. We are very thankful to Government of Pakistan and people for their support and love. Kashmir Day is observed on 5th Feb as Kashmir Solidarity Day every year.”

Provincial Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Dahar: Leader of Azad Kashmir Sardar Nazakat Khan: Metropolitan Commissioner Samiuddin Siddiqui and Sardar Bashir Khan Saddozai also addressed the seminar: whereas a walk was also arranged on this occasion in which heads of the various KMC departments: officers along with students: teachers and scouts participated.

Speaking on the occasion: Dahar said that the hearts of Pakistanis were with people of Kashmir and today we want to give a message to the world that we had very strong and true relation with Kashmiris. “Our borders and hearts are connected with Kashmiris and their struggle will produce positive outcomes one day and they will have the right to live their life independently.”

Metropolitan Commissioner Samiuddin Siddiqui also addressed seminar and said that participation of a good number of citizens and KMC officers in this seminar was a proof that we all were with people of Kashmir and we wanted that right to live with freedom should be given to Kashmiris.

He said that we would sacrifice everything for the sake of freedom of Kashmiris who should have right to live independently.

Sardar Nazakat Khan said that they would always remember the sincerity: support and courage of citizens of Karachi for people of Kashmir. “Pakistani government: people and political & religious parties are with us and one day Kashmir will be the part of Pakistan.”

He said that UN has unanimously passed six resolutions so far but intransigence of India was a big obstacle in this regard.

Sardar Bashir Khan Saddozai said that Pakistan government: people and all political & social organizations despite of ideological differences agreed on the same point that Kashmiris should be given their rights and Pakistani people were always with them in their struggle for freedom.

KMC observes Kashmir Day every year and gives this message to our Kashmiri brothers that we are with them: he concluded.
