Awami Muslim League finds no man to work or perform as polling agent

Karachi: The Awami Muslim League of former federal information minister Shaikh Rasheed has restricted its electioneering to door-t-door contacts in Karachi in view of law & order situation, and none of its workers is prepared to carry out election campaign or perform as polling agent.

Mahfoozyar Khan advocate, provincial chief of Awami Muslim League, who is contesting from two seats – NA-250 and PS-112, Karachi in a statement on Wednesday said he has directed his party workers in Sindh to work for the candidates of PTI, PML-F, 10-party alliance and MQM in the constituencies where there is no candidate of Awami Muslim League.

Mahfoozyar Khan said the party has allowed its workers to take decisions on their own keeping in view the situation of their respective areas.

He warned of launching movement if the May 11 elections were rigged.
