Bandits release two SEPCO employees

NAUNDERO: Two abducted SEPCO employees have been recovered by the police on Saturday night near Bahman plot along the bank of Indus River.

SHO Naundero Sadoro Lashari said that police had taken into custody women, children and cattle of the suspected notorious bandit Aitbar Shaikh and his associates after which he had no option but to leave the kidnapped employees, assistant lineman Abdul Qayoom Mirani and driver Muhammad Essa Chandio.

Police in return released all the arrested women, children and cattle of gangsters after which both men were set free and police were accordingly informed to take custody of both kidnapped persons.

Both employees were taken into captivity on March 23 while returning from Garhi Khuda Bhutto after repairing electricity fault in Shaeed Rani Feeder.
