Bilawal condemns Lower Dir blast

Karachi: Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan People’s Party PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has strongly condemned the bomb blast in Maidan area of Lower Dir, causing loss of precious lives including Zahir Shah, the brother of PPP candidate Muhammad Zamin Khan, and injuring many others.

The PPP Patron in Chief said that the militants wanted to create unwanted situation before the election by violence, bloodshed and terrorism to deprive the liberal and moderate forces of their constitutional and democratic rights. “Such cowardly acts of terrorists cannot weaken the resolve of the democratic forces to participate in the electoral process”, he added.

Bilawal Bhutto while expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives prayed to Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the colossal loss with equanimity.
