Bomb damages rail track near Nawabshah

Nawabshah, Sindh: Unknown terrorists exploded a bomb at railway track near here on Sunday, damaging a section of track and suspending rail traffic.

The explosive device was planted near Nawaz Dahri railway station and it went off 15 minutes before arrival of Shalimar Express.

Bomb Disposal Squad in charge inspector Raja Asif said a section of track about four and half feet in length was damaged. All up and down trains were stopped at different railway stations. However, rail traffic was resumed after a few hours, repairing the damaged track.
