Captain should be ready for ‘defeat’ in by-election, Asfandyar

Peshawar: ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan said PTI chief Imran Khan has been kept silence over law and order situation therefore in by-election on August 22 he will face a historic defeat.

Addressing a public gathering at Nishtar Hall Peshawar on Monday Asfandyar said after Bannu Jail break Imran would always say ANP had lost the right to rule the province but now what Imran would say about his right to rule in the province after D.I.Khan jail was broken despite that his government was informed 48 hours before the attack on jail.

“I am observing each and every speech of the captain but he kept a mum over the law and order situation in the province and he has advised party that not to use the word of condemnation in statements issued after every terrorist incident,” Asfandyar observed.

He said that the people of the province were deceived with slogan of “new Pakistan” but this new Pakistan where the ministers had been afraid of participating in the funeral prayers of even their colleagues of provincial assembly.

In the new Pakistan, he continued speaker of the provincial assembly was chairing the party meetings as provincial chief and CM was still General Secretary of the party.

Talking about Bashir Ahmad Bilour, he said that Bashir Bilour was a bold man and he never afraid of terrorists therefore the people of Peshawar should honour the sacrifices of Bashir Ahmad Bilour and vote for Ghulam Ahmad Bilour on 22 August.

Asfandyar Wali said that JUI and ANP would jointly defeat the opponents in election on 22 August and PTI will face a stunning defeat in every district. He said that ANP had never backtracked of the friendship and supporting Raza Rabbani in presidential election was the proof of this friendship.

Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, ANP candidate for NA1 Peshawar said that all the promises of PTI were mere drama therefore Pakhtun will now vote for the him.

Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Abdur Rauf Jan of JUI and Zulfiqar Afghani of PPP also addressed the gathering and assured that JUI and PPP will vote for Ghulam Ahmad Bilour.
