Islamabad: After rising complaints of traffic jam and also fraudulent sale of vehicles at Car bazaar in sector G9 Islamabad Traffic Police ITP in collaboration with Margallah police has removed it for convenience of road users and other citizens.

SP Traffic Asmat Ullah Junejo has made a complete homework in this regard and reviewed various difficulties being faced through setting up of this bazaar especially on each Sunday. It came to the notice of police that car sellers park their vehicles in front of houses and flats of local people thus creating problems to them. Traffic jams had been also observed due to this bazaar as people used to park their vehicles alongside the road while the activities at nearby shopping centers also got affected by this bazaar. The vehicles were mostly sold here on immediate basis after interaction among the sellers and purchasrs, raising the chances of fraudulent deals among them. He said that ITP has the main objective to ensure exemplary traffic system through smooth traffic flow in whole city and this task would be achieved with the cooperation of citizens.

SSP Traffic Dr. Moeen Masood has said that ITP is endeavouring to overcome traffic related problems and desired results can be achieved only through cooperation of citizens. He hoped that mutual cooperation between traffic police and citizens will further enhance in coming days to ensure exemplary traffic system in the city.
