CDA committed to preserve green character of Capital, Kazim

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority CDA is committed to preserve the green character of Islamabad as residents cooperation is required to make this city more beautiful.

Member Environment, CDA Dr. Kazim Niaz has stated this while planting a Chir sapling in a tree plantation ceremony organized by Himalyan Wildlife Foundation at Trail on Friday.

He said that CDA has been raising awareness amongst the residents about the beautification of the Capital City through publicity public participation in the event of environmental conservation.

He said that on the directions Chairman CDA a comprehensive strategy has been formulated for upcoming Spring Tree Plantation drive. He further said that involvement of general public, NGOs, Civil Society and students would be ensured so that Tree Plantation Campaign could be turned into success.

Director Environment, CDA, representatives of civil society and students from different universities were also present on this occasion.
