CM directs police to ensure foolproof security

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the Inspector General of Sindh Police and DG Rangers to ensure foolproof security on the eve of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A).

He directed to expedite police patrolling on main roads, streets and especially at the vicinity of mosques, Imambargahs and routes of mourning processions.

He said that intelligence network should be further activated and snap checking of vehicles be carried out. He said that to protect the life and property of people was the prime duty of the government. He advised the general public to cooperate with LEA’s and inform them about any suspicious person or activity.
