QUETTA: Donors conference on Balochistan would be called after Eid in Islamabad. This was stated by Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch at his meeting with Country Director World Bank Richard Ben Messaub in Islamabad Sunday. Chief Minister said Balochistan needs assistance and cooperation of international organizations in the energy sector and raising underground water table.

Recounting priorities of his government Dr Malik Baloch said his government has increased budgets of Education and Health from 400 to 500 percent. He said there is need relief agencies should extend assistance to Balochistan government for the promotion of agriculture, irrigation and human resources.

Referring to attracting incentives in investment he assured that his government would provide all possible facilities and security to foreigners working in Balochistan.

He aid end to corruption and sustainable development is important priorities of his government and no compromise would be made on this.

World Bank country Director said there is poverty in the province but Balochistan is not poor. He assured all possible assistance and cooperation from Word Bank in health, education and other sectors.
