Coordination Council of Mosques in London condemns Manchester terrorist attack

London (IINA) � The Coordination Council of Mosques in London condemned the recent terrorist attack on Manchester Arena. The Council said in a statement: We are appalled by the terrorist attack in Manchester in which innocent civilians were injured and precious lives lost. We unequivocally condemn the attack and reiterate our firm position that there is no justification for such criminal acts against civilians and civilian institutions,” it said adding “Our prayers and thoughts are with the victims and their families.”

“We pay tribute to our emergency services and law enforcement authorities for their efforts and hard work in reaching out to those in need of care and protection.”

The Coordination Council of Mosques is an umbrella body of mosques and Islamic centers such as the Islamic Cultural Centre & London Central Mosque, Al Manaar � Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre, Finsbury Park Mosque, Al Muntada Al Islami, Mayfair Mosque, East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre, Masjid Al-Tawhid, Muslim Welfare House, and Jamiat e Ulama Britain.
