Court: SC adjourns hearing in RPP review cases due to want of time

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Tuesday adjourned the hearing, due to want of time, until March 25 on a set of pleas moved by the Rental Power Plants RPP companies, seeking review of the court’s March 30, 2012 verdict.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed put-off the hearing saying that it was pre occupied with the hearing of another important issue pertaining to Adiala Jail’s missing prisoners being detained by the intelligence agencies and a petition challenging the vires of the Action in Aid of Civil Administration Regulations for tribal areas.
