RATODERO: Larkana Chamber of Commerce & Industry has criticized NEPRA decision for recovery of fuel adjustment charges from October 2012 to March 2013.
In an emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of its chairman, Hafiz Suleman Shaikh, the meeting opined that the conditions prevailing in the country are unsatisfactory and the business community had suffered the most. They added that unscheduled power outages had added fuel to the fire and the problems faced by the people have multiplied.
Poverty and unemployment has also forced the poor people to live below standard living, they said. The meeting unanimously passed a resolution urging the government & NEPRA authorities to withdraw the notification immediately as they considered it illegal and that it will further ruin the already ruined economy of the country.
The meeting was attended among others by vice chairman Lakhmichand Jaisinghani, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Anwar Shaikh, Bashir Shaikh, Jamal Mustafa, Abdul Razak Brohi, Badardin Abro, Mumtaz Shaikh and others.
