Delegation of Singapore National University visits Sultan Qaboos University

A delegation from the National University of Singapore (NUS) visited Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Muscat to view the educational and training facilities at the university.

The delegation comprised Executive Director of the of NUS School of Continuing And Lifelong Education (SCALE) Wei Yeher and SCALE Assistant Director Chee Siong Ong.

The delegation was received by Director of the SQU Center for Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Zahran bin Salim Al-Salty, who gave a detailed explanation onthe activities and services as well as the programs and training courses provided by the Center for a number of public and private institutions.

During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation in issues of mutual interest between the two educational institutions.

“These meetings are important for exchanging experiences and information and promoting ways of joint action,” Al-Salty said, pointing out that SQU is keen to extend bridges of cooperation in various fields with a number of prestigious universities and to benefit from regional and international best practices.

It is noteworthy that the SQU Center for Community Service and Continuing Education has recently launched a new package of training courses.
