Dengue overcome due to CM efforts

RAWALPINDI: Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb has said that dengue was overcome due to dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.

She was addressing after watching drama on dengue in connection with anti-dengue campaign at Rawalpindi Arts Council here on Tuesday. MNA Asfandyar Bhandara, Member Punjab Assembly Raja Hanif Advocate, Member Punjab Assembly Zeb-un-Nisa Awan, Educationist Zaafran Elahi, Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed were also present on the occasion.

She said efforts of Rawalpindi Arts Council for creating awareness about dengue were appreciable. Member National Assembly Asfandyar Bhandara said that collective efforts by all institutions enable to overcome dengue and this credit goes to CM Punjab.

Member Punjab Assembly Raja Hanif said that the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif not was only acknowledged in all over Pakistan but also worldwide. He said that portrait of Mian Shahbaz Sharif have been displayed in Sri Lanka portraying him as symbol of leadership. Raja Hanif said it is appreciable that RAC staged dengue awareness plays in educational institutions of Rawalpindi.

Member National Assembly Zebun Nisa said that all institutions played wonder role in anti-dengue campaign including RAC and drama on dengue was very informative. Naheed Manzoor said that RAC always made efforts to succeed campaigns launched by Punjab government. Drama “Dengue in Trouble” was written by Imran Rushdi and directed by Amin Shahzada also performed by Taskeen Victor, Rana Kashif and Shahid Bhatti. RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed thanked all the honourable guests at the end of program.
