District: All Pakistan Pensioners Associations to hold sit-in for fulfilment of demands

Abbottabad: President All Pakistan Pensioners Associations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fida Muhammad Durrani has said that they will hold sit in front of KPK assembly on its first meeting to record their grievances and press their demands from the newly elected KPK government.

He stated this while addressing a press conference here at press club on Monday. He was accompanied by Syed Noor Ahmed Shah, Divisional President, Wajid Ali Haripur, Aalam Zeb Khan Battagram, Manan Qureshi, divisional general secretary and large number of pensions from Hazara division.

Fida Durrani while presenting lengthy list of their demands has asked for the documents attestation powers for the retried gazetted officers, 33 % quota in the employments for retired persons families Sons/Daughters, family pension to be increased upto 100 % as after the death of pensioner, it has been reduced to 50%, special quota for the disabled persons of the retired employees.

He further demanded that retired employees of education department specially teachers, professors etc to be provide chances of holding duties and other assignments in Board and University examinations. Early release of benevolent fund and group insurance was also demanded.
