District: Mysteriously murdered man laid to rest

Chakwal: The middle aged man who was mysteriously murdered last day was laid to rest n Sunday at Anwarabad Graveyard. The brother of the deceased Abdul Hameed Khan told the police that he was serving at National Bank Choa Saidan Shah and his real brother M. Saeed Khan was residing with him at Dhakku road Chakwal.

In April 1999, a young man Irfan Afzal was murdered and his brother M. Saeed Khan was involved in that murder and Session Judge Chakwal awarded 25 years imprisonment to him and Saeed came out from the jail on 11th April 2009 and he was unemployed since then.

M. Saeed went out for prayer at 2pm, two persons riding on a motor cycle came and one of them was armed with 9mm pistol and opened indiscriminate firing at him.

Ten bullets were hit on the body of M. Saeed and he died on the spot. According to the FIR, it was suspected that the killing of M. Saeed was an old enmity of the 4th September incident of murder case and M. Saeed was killed by the heirs of deceased Irfan Afzal. Police registered a murder case against an unknown accused and sub-inspector Khali Mehmood started searching the accused.
