Dr Malik escaped in bomb attack

TURBAT: President national party Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and provincial President Dr Yasin Baloch escaped unhurt in bomb attack on their vehicle here Monday. Vehicle was partially damaged.

According to details Dr Malik Baloch and Yasin Baloch were returning to their election cell after distributing pamphlets in Turbat bazaar today. On the way terrorists riding a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade on their vehicle from Rakhshan Street.

It blasted off. Their guards returned the fire. Dr Malik and Dr Yasin escaped unhurt in the explosion. Their vehicle was partially damaged from the back and its windowpanes were shattered.

According to a report two passersby were also injured.

News of attack on their vehicle spread like jungle fire in the city and party workers and leaders reached Election Cell.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Malik said that party would not be cowed down by such tactics and our morale would not affect by bomb blasts. We have run election campaign with bravery and boldness and would continue to do so. He said people have given their verdict. May 11 is day of success of the party. This is why it was being made target of terrorism. He aid National Party workers would come to polling stations on May 11 and cast their votes.
