NAUNDERO: The independent candidate for PS37 and 38 engineer Saifullah Abro has alleged that if anything happened to him or his associates, PPP candidates for PS37 Muhammad Ali Bhutto and PS38 candidate Khursheed Junejo should be held responsible.

This he said while addressing a corner meeting in Gharibabad here on Wednesday. Abro said that he is receiving threats of fake cases, forcible possession of his lands and other property but he would never withdraw election process and contest with more force to show the world and his opponents that he has not worn bangles.

He said that PPP did nothing for their own people during its five-year rule and just filled their pockets with public money. Abro urged Election Commission of Pakistan ECP to take notice of threats and forcible occupation of his lands. He further said that lower police rank officers of Larkana are still working openly for PPP candidates. He urged authorities to transfer them before May 11 and post new honest officers.

It may be mentioned here that he had withdrawn in favour of NA207 PPP candidate Faryal Talpur but refused to withdraw from PS37 and 38 in favour of PPP candidates due to which he has been kicked out of PPP due to which he is fighting as independent candidate.

Observers said that his position on PS37 is better than PPP candidate. Ratodero City PPP president Gul Hassan Ghanghro, Wadero Muhammad Ramzan Shar and others have announced to quit PPP and joined Saifullah Abro along with their supporters. Munir Mangnejo, Nazir Abro, Mithal Bhatti, Gul Bahar Leghari and others were also present on the occasion.
