KARACHI: Election Commission of Pakistan ECP Sindh Director Mohammad Najeeb said on Tuesday that ECP had decided to conduct repolling at 43 polling stations of NA250 on 19 May 2013.

It may be noted that polling process at some NA250 polling stations was suspended due to serious irregularities and rigging complaints on May 11th.

Jamaat-e-Islami JI leader Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui rejected the ECP decision to conduct repolling at 43 polling stations and termed it a joke with the people of Karachi and Hyderabad. He demanded of ECP to conduct repolling in Karachi and Hyderabad under army presence inside and outside all polling stations.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement MQM candidate from NA250, Khushbakht Shujaat, said that repolls should be conducted at all 180 polling stations in the constituency. She expressed concerns over the decision of ECP. She wants peaceful elections in the constituency.
