Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Atif has said that education is a primary tool for change. We can solve our entire problems by promoting education sector he added. He said that steps would be taken to manipulate the education system by cooperation of expertise in education on one hand while with due cooperation of masses on the other hands.
This he stated while chairing a meeting on reform in education first working group at Peshawar, where participant were come voluntarily from all over Pakistan to launch a transparent education system in KP.
The minister for education welcomed the participants and shared the vision that reforms in the education sector is the necessity of the modern age by which we can bring out nation parallel to the other nations of the neighbours and the world.
The minister education was apprised the facts, disparities and challenges which the elementary and secondary education is facing. Muhammad Atif has shared the reforms have been initiated including separation of teaching and management cadre, cluster system, promotion of early childhood care and education etc. On this occasion the secretary E&SE highlighted the reform agenda and terms of references for the working group.
There were present in the meeting the most prominent expertise of education, Dr. Arif Bhutt, Farooq Haroon, Umbreen Arif, Mossarat Qadeem, Merajud Din Khan, Rayed Afzal, Raja Saad Khan, Ghazala Saifi, Farah Hamid, Ranya Khan, Izza Farrakh and minister for higher education Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, on this occasion.
