Ex CM’s vote bank seen rising

KHAIRPUR: Ghumra community on Wednesday announced to cast votes to PMLN candidate for NA215 and Ps29, Syed Ghous Ali in upcoming general elections.

A meeting of Ghumra community was held at the house of Zaheeruddin Ghumro, which was attended by over 200 notables of the area. The meeting was attended among others by Hizbullah Ghumro, Asadullah Ghumro Advocate, Sultan Ahmed, Zaheeruddin, Mumtaz Ali Ghumro, Aurangzeb, Advocate Arshad Ali, Advocate Riaz Ali, Shamsuddin Ghumro, Fida Hussain Ghumro, Muhammad Usman Ghumro, Haji Abdul Rahim, Athar Ali and others.

Addressing the meeting Sultan Ahmed Ghumro, Professor Faiz Muhammad Ghumro and others said that during five-year rule, PPP leaders and ministers ignored the merit and sold jobs besides depriving Khairpur city of uplift works.

They said PPP had completely failed to resolve the problems faced by masses, so they would not cast vote to PPP and vote PMLN candidate Syed Ghous Ali Shah.

Meanwhile, hundreds of youths belonging to Kalhora-Abbasi community, including Pervez Mansoor Abbasi, Gul Hassan Abbasi and Mukhtiar Hussain Kalhoro, took out a rally from village Ahmed Khan Abbasi to Garhi Mori in favour of Syed Ghous Ali Shah.

Addressing the rally, Pervez Mansoor Abbasi said that PPP government had ignored 22 villages of Kalhora-Abbassi community that comprise over 22000 voters, which would now vote Ghous Ali Shah.

Meanwhile, a meeting of Chhajro community was held here in Jilani Mohalla, which was presided over by notable Shahid Hussain Chhajro in which it was decided that their community would not vote PPP candidate Nawab Wassan and Sayed Qaim Ali Shah but they would vote Ghous Ali Shah.

After the dramatic change of various communities, vote bank of Ghous Ali Shah is seen rising.
