Lahore: “A small business starting from nothing can become self sustainable in a market economy in a way that it can create share holder value also without compromising its objectives,” said Mudassar Aqil, CEO FINCA Microfinance Bank, while addressing the gathering at the recently concluded Second South Asia Conclave, held in Lahore. He further said that “Focus on Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can create self sustainable economy for Pakistan which can help improve its standing in the global scenario.”
FINCA Microfinance Bank, ranked as one of the leading microfinance institution of Pakistan, was one of the main sponsors of the Second South Asia Conclave, which was attended by, among others, corporate leaders from the South Asia region. The conclave’s main objective was to bring together successful corporate leaders from a variety of business sectors on a single platform, allowing them to share thoughts and best practices.
