Four killed in Karachi incidents

Karachi: Four people were killed and three others injured in separate incidents across the city on Monday. According to rescue sources, the mutilated-bodies of three men were found near a bridge at Super Highway. The men were abducted, killed and abandoned alongside highway after being killed through brutal torture. The bodies could not be identified yet. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, the body of a 35-year-old man was found near Lucky Star bus stop in Saddar. The man died after consuming excess drugs. The body could not be identified till filing this report. It was shifted to a morgue after legal formalities.

Moreover, unidentified armed men opened fire in Chakiwara of Lyari, injuring 25-year-old Aziz, son of Salam. The wounded was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.

A man and his wife sustained injuries after being hit by a speeding car in Sector 10 of North Karachi. They were identified as Rashid, 35, son of Salahuddin, and Sana, 28, wife of Rashid. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
