Fresh clashes erupted between police, PAT & PTI protesters again

Islamabad: Fresh clashes erupted between police and protesters of PTI and PAT as Police has started fire tear gas at protesters on Margalla Road once again. Owing to the fresh attack number of protesters were injured that shifted to nearby hospitals.

Ambulances have reached the scene as announcements made asking protesters with masks to move forward to fight the police and urging the rest to move back. Police has started to fire tear gas at protesters on Margalla.

Clashes again stated when police tried again to disperse crowds marching towards PM House, the protesters started to pelt stones resulting in the police resorting to shelling resulting in the clash.

Fighting raged between police and anti-government protesters for the second consecutive day after the latter stormed Pak secretariat.

Earlier the protesters led by PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri hurled stones on police, injuring SSP Asmatullah. The SSP has been shifted to hospital.

Hundreds of protesters attempted to force their way into Pak secretariat early morning after the tear gas shells became unproductive due to rain.

According to reports, the protesters have also broken the gate of Pak secretariat. There were also reports that the anti-government protesters set a container on fire.
