GB CM demands to Federal Govt for making screening system in airports, borders

Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has demanded to the Federal Government for making screening system more effective in airports and borders to control outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan.

Talking to a video calling conference, he said according to Lab reports three tests of coronavirus were declared positive in GB and patients are under treatment.

He said out of fifteen hundred, fourteen hundred and forty one persons who arrived in Gilgit-Baltistan from abroad were screened properly.

Chief Minister said Health emergency has been declared in GB.

Health department has suggested extension for closure of all educational institutions up to 30th of this month.

SAPM on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza, Chief Ministers, Usman Buzdar and Murad Ali Shah, head of Vision Pakistan, Tania Idrees and Minister KPK also spoke.
