Peshawar: Keeping in view the precarious law and order situation, the Home & Tribal Affairs Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed Secretary Higher Education Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ask all the Vice Chancellors of both the public and private sector universities to avoid receiving any foreigner in their camps and campuses throughout the province without proper clearance/security cover from the provincial government in the Home & Tribal Affairs Department during their movements/stay in order to avoid any untoward incident.

It may be recalled that the provincial government in the Home & Tribal Affairs Department has time and again issued detailed instructions in shape of Standard Operating Procedures SOPs to all the public and private sector universities in the province and bounded the university administrations that while they are arranging visits/stay programs of foreigners pertaining to their educational and other allied activities, the Vice Chancellors may invariably inform the Home & Tribal Affairs Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa well advance and share their schedule of visits/activities, so that proper security cover/escort is provided for the visiting foreigners for protection of their lives and property, which is primary responsibility of the provincial government.
