NAUNDERO: The 100bed capacity Government Hospital in the home town of Bhutto leaders, which is still incomplete, is without electricity since last three days due cable faults and the District Health authorities and this hospital administration despite information has done nothing to restore it causing severe hardships for the ailing patients that arrive here to get treatment from all the adjoining villages which are more than 22.
According to the Hospital incharge Dr Ghulam Mustafa Khuhro, three-day ago, few of the power cables burst due to overloading as the same were of low quality and he informed the District Health Officer DHO, Larkana but they have done nothing as yet to get the power restored which has multiplied the problems of the suffering poor & needy people as no radiological and pathological investigation is being conducted and operations have been stopped.
He further said that the second floor of the hospital has yet to be constructed and added that the contractor had used inferior quality material in the electrification and other works due to which it suddenly developed faults due to which the hospital work came to standstill. DHO Dr Khalilullah Shaikh told PPI that he was unaware of the electricity fault and nonworking of the hospital due to power outage and added that he would try to get it restored on Friday. Daughters of Benazir Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto and Aseefa Bhutto inaugurated this incomplete hospital about a year ago.
