Govt is not only committed to provide effective services delivery to poor, Minister

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said that present provincial government is not only committed to provide effective services delivery to the poor people but different pro-poor initiatives have also been taken to achieve the goal. However, the public should also greatly contribute to make these initiatives fruitful.

This he said while talking to the public delegations from different districts of the province at his office on Wednesday. Members Provincial Assembly and other concerned authorities of Health Department were also present on the occasion.

The Health Minister on this occasion, while highlighting the pro-poor initiatives of provincial government said that PTI government according to its reforms agenda had taken historical initiatives to eradicate poverty and to facilitate people. He stated that due to long term corruption of the past, people were hopeless and did not trust the government department.

PTI government has restored their trust and confidence through its transparent and pro-poor governance. He also urged public to play their vital role to discourage the menace of corruption.

He said the government would leave no stone unturned to make corruption free Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He emphasized all the stake holders and other people to contribute in this regard as collective and highly responsible struggle was needed to bring about a real change.
