Govt seeks PC-I for replacing beds of many hospitals

RATODERO: Sindh government has asked various hospitals in the province to submit immediately PC-1 for replacement of new beds by old ones of all rural heal centers, taluka hospitals, district headquarters hospitals and teaching hospitals.
In this connection, a time limit case letter has been sent to Director General Health Services Sindh, Hyderabad by Deputy Director (Dev-II), Badaruddin Shaikh, stating said that the existing beds of all the rural health centers, taluka hospitals, district headquarter hospitals and teaching hospitals in Sindh needed to be replaced by new beds in pursuance of the directives of the Health Minister.

Accordingly, it requested that PC-1 of the development scheme ‘Replacement of beds of all RHC’s Taluka & District Headquarter Hospitals in Sindh’ may be furnished to the office within 15 days time so that PC-1 could be processed for consideration and approval of the competent forum in due course of time. Copies of this letter have also been sent to all the medical superintendents of the respective hospitals of the province.
