Govt working to improve road connectivity b/w southern, central Punjab: CMSeptember 21, 2017
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says tremendous work has been done during the last four years to improve the road infrastructure in the province.
He was addressing PML-N workers and notables of the area in Dera Ghazi Khan on Thursday after performing the groundbreaking of Dera Ghazi Khan-Muzaffargarh dual carriageway.
The Chief Minister said that provincial government is working to improve road connectivity between southern and central Punjab.
He said fifteen billion rupees would be spent in South Punjab for providing clean drinking water to the people.
Shahbaz Sharif said Punjab Government has given thirteen billion rupees to NHA for construction of Dera Ghazi Khan Muzaffar Garh carriage-way.
He said work on Danish schools project in Dera Ghazi Khan and Tounsa Sharif has begun.
He also announced to set up cardiac and Kidney wards in Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh hospital.
