Hajj Computer Cell of Religious Affairs ministry inaugurated

Islamabad: Pakistani people are grateful to Khadim Harmain Al Sharifain for providing better facilities to the Pakistani pilgrimages says Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Shahzada Jamal Nazir on the occasion of inauguration of Hajj Computer Cell at the ministry, which was inaugurated by Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer here on Monday.

Secretary of ministry of Religious Affairs, Ch. Muhammad Azam Samma, Joint Secretary Hajj, Shahzad Ahmad and other high officials of the ministry were also present in the event.

The Saudi ambassador on the occasion said Khadim Harmain Al Sharifain has good wishes for the people of Pakistan and gives importance to provide all possible facilities to them during Hajj.

Briefing the ambassador about the function of the ministry of Religious Affairs especially of Hajj Computer Cell, the minister said Hajj Computer Cell remains in constant contact with the pilgrimages that perform Hajj under government scheme and provide them with information about their residence and flights.

Hajj Computer Cell processes Hajj applications forms, intimates to applicants through correspondence while website of the ministry is always kept updated for the information of the pilgrimages, he added.

The Saudi ambassador along with the minister visited all the sections of the Hajj Computer Cell and lauded the endeavours of the ministry of Religious Affairs for setting up a cell on modern lines in order to facilitate the pilgrimages.
