Hindu businessman freed

KALAT: A Hindu businessman was freed by his abductors after 10 months Monday. According to details three Hindu traders Sunil Kumar, Danesh Kumar and Ratan Chand were returning to Kalat after attending a marriage in Khuzdar in July last year. Armed men stopped their vehicle at Anjeera along Khuzdar-Kalat section of RCD highway and took them to unknown place. One of them Danesh Kumar was released a month ago. Abductors freed Sunil Kumar at Sang Das near Kalat who reached his home safely. Ratan Chand was still in captivity of his abductors.

Due to deteriorating law and order situation and incidents of abduction for ransom dozens of Hindu families have shifted to India, English and other parts of Pakistan. Hindu community course said that so far 300 families have migrated from Kalat city only.
