Hindu trader looted

RATODERO: A Hindu rice trader of Ratodero was looted by unknown armed men near village Ali Khan Wasul within the limits of Garhi Yasin Police Station of Shikarpur district late Monday night. Trader Manoj Kumar was coming back from Kandhkot in his car when he was intercepted by unknown armed men near Ali Khan Wasul village. The armed men looted Rs05 million cash, cell phones and other valuables from his possession. Kumar said he had got the money from a rice miller of Kandhkot.

He further said that Hindu community was being targeted by criminals and they have not yet been provided protection due to which they cannot carryout their business in free atmosphere. He said he also had informed Hindu Panchayat leaders of Ratodero and Larkana district about the incident, who have also talked to higher police officers of Larkana & Shikarpur districts but nothing had yet been done by the police to recover the looted money and other valuables. He demanded immediate recovery of the cash and provision of security to Hindu community.
