President Azad Kashmir Masood Khan says human rights situation in Occupied Kashmir is very bleak and the territory remains the most painful tragedy for humanity.

He expressed these views while addressing a seminar in Islamabad in connection with International Human Rights Day being observed on Sunday.

He said Human Rights Day implies that we work for promotion of those very fundamental human rights at every stage.

Masood Khan said the internationally declared human rights should be implemented without any selectivity and partiality.

Masood Khan said the very principles embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights were laid down by Islam centuries ago.

He lamented that the United Nations does not raise its voice over the atrocities by Indian Forces in Occupied Kashmir.
