IBF official praises Pakistan’s participation in U12 Baseball WC

Karachi: International Baseball Federation IBF Director Technical Affairs Beppe Guilizzoni praised Pakistan’s participation in the ongoing U12 Baseball World Cup in Chinese Taipei.

According to information mad available here, Beppe was quoted as saying that Pakistan has been progressing gradually in the sport of baseball.

“I see immense talent among the young boys of Pakistan,” Beppe was quoted as saying. “We will continue to support the country to dig and polish talent in the country,” he added.

He added that Pakistan Federation Baseball PFB has been making efforts to regularly send its team to international events and it has also been organizing domestic tournaments, which has raised the standard of the game in the country.

“These efforts have brought forth talented players,” he said.

He particularly praised U12 skipper Syed Ali Shah, Shiraz Asif, Syed Mohammad Shah and Farrukh Masoodi for their impressive showings in the event.

Pakistan team’s head coach Syed Fakhr Ali Shah said that participation in tournaments like this one would enhance confidence in the young colts also improve their skills.

“Our players are improving and I hope we continue to participate in such events regularly,” the coach added.
