IGP orders beefing up security

KARACHI: Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch as asked beefing up security in whole province, particularly railway stations and tracks, after recent bomb blast on rail track near Kashmore.

The IGP directed all DIGs to ensure strict security at all public places, particularly mosques, worship places, government and semi-government buildings and installations and utility service departments.

He said the process of intelligence sharing be further improved and snap checking, police picketing and surveillance should be ensured at all costs.
