Indian delegation calls on Khuhro

Karachi: An Indian delegation led by Indian High commissioner in Pakistan called on acting governor Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khuhro at governor house here on Wednesday.

They discussed Pak India relations, general elections in Pakistan, law and order situation and matters of mutual interests.

Khuhro said we want strong democracy in Pakistan like India, because democracy is in the larger interest of Pakistan and its people. He said every political party should accept the verdict of people in the general elections. He said that he is in favour of local government system.

On the occasion, Indian high commissioner in Pakistan Sharat Sabharwal said India also want to see democratic system strong in Pakistan.

Khuhro presented cultural gifts of Sindhi cap and Ajrak to the delegation.
