Indian singer Hans Raj looted musical show

SIALKOT: The visiting Indian prominent singer Hans Raj looted the musical show by giving the fabulous performance during a grand musical show held at Narowal in connection with the Jashan-e-Baharan, which concluded on Sunday.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ch. Ehsan Iqbal was the chief guest of this mega event. Mrs. Ehsan Iqbal, MPAs Khawaja Waseem Butt, Ramesh Singh Arora Mrs. Sameena Waseem, Narowal DCO Syed Najaf Iqbal, his spouse and President PML-N Narowal Malik Tariq Awan were present on this occasion.

The people of Narowal region enjoyed much the colourful celebrations of the ongoing three-day long Jashan-e-Baharan arranged by the district administration.

The prominent male and female singers sung the melodious songs during the colourful musical night held at Narowal, where the hundreds of music lovers with their families highly praised the fabulous performance of the national singers including Jawad Ahmed, Sanam Marvi, Nadeem Abbas and violinist Babar Ali Bella.

Later, talking to the participants, Indian singer Hans Raj said that he had ever loved and felt proud to be in Pakistan, a land of the spiritual saints, saying that the people of Pakistan were very loving and caring.

On this occasion, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ch. Ehsan Iqbal said that Indian singer Hans Raj was an ambassador of peace and his visit to Pakistan would be helpful in establishing and promoting the strong social and cultural relations between Pakistan and India. He is visiting Pakistan to spread love and affection.

Ch. Ehsan Iqbal said that the PML-N government was striving for keeping the social and cultural values of the country alive, which could be helpful in bringing the people closer in all parts of the country.

He said that the celebrations of Jashan-e-Baharan had left the very positive affects in the minds of the people, which felt relaxed and enjoyed a lot. He said that Horses Race, Tent Paging, Tug of War, Kabaddi and local traditional games were included in the Jashan-e-Baharan, which provided the unique opportunities of enjoyment to the people.

Earlier, the people accorded warm rosy welcome to Indian singer Hans Raj upon his arrival at Narowal. He exchanged gifts and sweets with the local people, besides, hailing the ongoing peace talks’ process between Pakistan and India.

Talking to the newsmen at Narowal, Hans Raj said that the people from both sides wanted to have a durable peace in the region, besides, seeking the developed people-to-people contacts between the nuclear neighbours Pakistan and India, in this regard.

Hans Raj also urged the media of the both countries to come forward and play its pivotal role in promoting peace and bringing the people of Pakistan and India close through the promotion of bilateral trade between the two countries.
