Iran closes Zero Point

DALBANDIN: Iranian authorities closed Zero Point and Rahdari Gate along Pak-Iran border Monday. Zero Point is used for across border exchange of goods required in border areas of two countries.

Due to closure of Zero point hundreds of workers have left for their respective areas and would return after opening of Zero Point.

The step has been taken in view of presidential elections in Iran schedule to be held on June 14. Security has also been alerted in areas bordering with Pakistan.
