JI suspects foreign hand in Peshawar blastSeptember 22, 2013
Karachi: Jamaat e Islami JI here Sunday suspected the involvement of ‘external hand’ in Peshawar Church attacks and said that the involvement of external powers could not be ruled out in Peshawar mayhem.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, JI said that the vested interests want to destabilize Pakistan by igniting Muslim Christian riots. It said that the JI stands shoulder to shoulder with Christian community at this critical juncture.
JI Karachi acting ameer Prof Nizamuddin Memon and Incharge JI Minority Wing Muslim Pervez strongly condemned the Peshawar attack and termed it antihuman act. They appealed the Christian community to remain calm and foil the conspiracy of terrorists.
They demanded of the Chief Minister KhyberPakhtunkhwa to conduct a transparent and impartial inquiry into the incident and arrest the criminals. They further demanded medical treatment of the injured at State expense.
