Karachi: President Doctors Association Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Dr Javed Akhter Jamali on Thursday condemned revengeful activities of administration against doctors and paramedics and urged the provincial government to take serious action in this regard.

He said recent suspension of a nursing attendant, Rohail Jamali, and transfer of a doctor, Dr Sikander is condemnable. He said doctors association has raised this issue with Secretary Health and Chief Secretary Sindh.

He said doctors of JPMC do not want to see patients suffering, ‘so we are avoiding to observe strike and stage protest against hospital administration’.

He demanded of the provincial government and other high-ups to stop the revengeful activities of JPMC administration with employees and take serious notice in this regard.

Joint Director JPMC Dr Seemi Jamali when contacted said suspension and transfers of employees is the internal issue of JPMC administration.
