KARACHI: Like NA250 Karachi, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam JUI Sindh Secretary General Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Syed Siraj Ahmed Shah Amroti, Maulana Mohammad Ramzan and Secretary Information Mohammad Aslam Ghauri have demanded repolling in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Pano Aqil, Ghotki, Kandhkot, Kashmore and Shikarpur.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the JUI leaders said that Pakistan People’s Party PPP had stolen the mandate of the province by rigging elections.

“People of Sindh have rejected PPP in the polls over its corrupt practices during the last regime tenure,” they said, adding the party secured several seats by committing massive rigging.

They further alleged that after being elected, the PPP leaders were victimizing their opponents, particularly JUI men. “Several JUI activists have been jailed for supporting the party,” the leaders said.

They announced to support the May 22 strike call by the 10party alliance against polls rigging in the province.
