JUI to observe ‘protest day’ in Sindh

Karachi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) would observe a ‘protest day’ in whole Sindh province on Friday against the growing incidents of crime, especially kidnapping for ransom. JUI-F Sindh information secretary Aslam Ghouri told PPI that the law and order situation in Sindh is deteriorating with every passing day. He said there is no writ of the government and citizens are living in perpetual fear due to increasing crime rate. He said JUI-F Shikarpur chapter leader Maulana Bakhtullah Pahore along with his two companions was kidnapped two days ago and the police have so far failed to recover them.

He said there party has decided to observe a ‘protest day’ in whole Sindh province on Friday and rallies and processions would held in different cities and towns after the Jumma prayer. He said their protest would continue till the safe recovery of Maulana Pahore and his companions.
