KEYW and Hexis Cyber Solutions Partner With PGI to Provide Advanced Cyber Training and Cybersecurity SolutionsDecember 23, 2013
HANOVER, Md., Dec. 20, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE ) — The KEYW Holding Corporation (Nasdaq:KEYW) and its subsidiary Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc. (Hexis) today announced a strategic partnership with Protection Group International (PGI), a British owned business committed to protecting its clients’ personnel, reputation, assets, and profits.
Under this agreement, PGI will offer tailored versions of KEYW’s Parrot Labs’ advanced cyber training curriculum to corporate, critical infrastructure, government, and law enforcement customers across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. PGI’s courses in network exploitation and tactical digital forensics will be delivered in an immersive, realistic network environment, the first of its kind in the UK.
PGI will also act as a channel partner for Hexis’ HawkEye family of products, including Hexis’ flagship product, HawkEye G, in Europe and the Middle East.
“PGI’s clients face a broadening range of increasingly advanced cyber threats. Their efforts to counter them are hampered by a global shortage of the necessary high-end cyber skills. This partnership means we can provide some of the most advanced, realistic immersion training available. I believe PGI will play a leading role in resolving the international skills shortage,” explained Barry Roche, CEO at PGI. “Our clients also require and need cutting edge tools to detect advanced threats and automate the response at computer speeds. Having assessed the security technology market we’ve determined the remarkable technologies in HawkEye G will not only enhance our own security, but add to the integrated capabilities we provide to our security conscious customers.”
“I have been impressed with the capabilities of PGI and their strong relationships with government and commercial enterprises in the UK and the Middle East,” commented Len Moodispaw, CEO and President of KEYW Corporation. “Moreover, PGI’s style of operation and corporate culture closely match that of KEYW/Hexis. This alliance will reap benefits for both companies.”
