Kidnappers demand1 billion for Nawab Kasi’s release

QUETTA: Abductors have demanded Rupees one billion for release of Nawab Arbab Zahir Kasi. Kasi tribes discarding their demand have decided neither to pay ransom despite big losses nor make any compromise. This was stated by Omar Farooq Kasi son of Nawab Arbab Kasi at a Press conference at his residence Arbab House here Sunday.

He said Nawab Kasi was abducted from a road during broad day light who could not be recovered yet. We the Kasi tribesmen recorded peaceful protest in a democratic manner. He aid according to the decision of Supreme council and General Council of Kasi Tribe we are not ready for any deal for release of Arbab Zahir Kasi. He said he belonged to a political family and his forefathers and elders played key role in the liberation of the country. He asked Nawabs, Sardars of all tribes and other people to take such a decision to stop such dirty act.

Omar Farooq Kasi said we provided phone number s and other details of abductors to the administration from time to time but no headway has been made yet. It is responsibility of state and government to provide security to their citizens and mobilize all resources for the release of Nawab Arbab Kasi.
