KMC administrator review construction of apartments

KARACHI: KMC Administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi has said residential apartments for Central Prison staff have been constructed to acquire the space for construction of right way of Jail Chowrangi Flyover.

The remaining work on this project would start after the shifting of prison staff in these flats. He said this while reviewing the construction work of residential apartments for jail staff along with D.G Technical Services and other officers.

Administrator Karachi said the traffic flow had been disrupted due to non construction of Jail Chowrangi Right way and now this work will be performed on preferential basis.

He said these flats were constructed with a cost of Rs175million and these would be provided with electricity and gas connection in next fifteen days. The Project Director on this occasion gave a briefing to Administrator Karachi on the construction work.

Administrator Karachi directed Engineering Department to complete the remaining work of this flyover as soon as possible. He said that uplift works underway in the city will be carried out without any delay as these were aimed at providing convenience to citizens.

He directed project directors to submit their progress report on the development works so that the pace of work and performance of concerned staff could be established. He said Sharae Pakistan Flyovers will also be completed on time to save the citizens from any further inconvenience due to construction works.
