KP Govt is taking serious measures to protect the present environmental situation, Minister

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Environment, Samin Jan Babar has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government was taking serious and effective measures to protect and enhance the present environmental situation in the province.

Addressing the concluding session of the one day workshop on environment at a local hotel in Peshawar on Wednesday.

He asked the participants and experts from various fields that they should make practical suggestions and remedies to eradicate the deficiencies and to improve the present state of environment for the collective cause and benefits of the community.

The Minister assured the participants on this occasion that the Caretaker Govt: besides its limited mandate and time it would deliver and contribute maximum regarding this national cause for the betterment of our people. Provincial Secretary Muhammad Adil Khan, Director General EPA, Dr. Bashir Khan and other speakers also highlighted the environmental issues and their remedies during the workshop.
